Minehli Petrossian - Architectural Designer / Researcher
After finishing my undergraduate studies in Architecture at the University of West Tehran, I moved to Los Angeles. Continuing my passion for architecture and urban planning, I graduated from the USC School of Architecture with a Master of Architecture degree in May of 2020. In my thesis project titled Paracosm,
I examined an alternative scenario for a big-scale sustainable residential-community located in the heart of the Los Angeles Trade center. This project was the recipient of the USC School of Architecture’s “Outstanding directed design research” award. As an architectural designer, I am passionate about Los Angele’s urban planning, social issues, and Angelino’s sense of community. Studying architecture in connection with social and economic issues is a key element of social equality and sustainable development. I love to utilize my love for architecture, photography and drawing in creating analytical or conceptual illustrations in order to better understand the complexities of life.
